I designed Wake Makers to harmonize with the Pour Me Another traveling exhibit featured at COR Museum from May 2023 to November 2023.
My responsibilities as Exhibit Specialist were to transform the assigned room at COR Museum to accommodate the Pour Me Another traveling exhibit. My designs included the wall and collections case paint colors, the design of the local brewery sponsorship panels, and the design the a map of Wake county that marked all 4o plus locations of local brewers, distillers, and wine makers.
I designed the map to be 3D so that the locations of breweries and distilleries could build up upon each other to show the density of makers specifically in the downtown area of Raleigh. I designed a key panel to accompany the map so that the numbers on the markers on the map corresponded with the names and locations on the key panel. I led the painting of the room, installation of all the panels, and I prepared all the files for print production.
